Feelings of Scent

Help and answers

Is everything on Feelings of Scent second hand? Most bottles are pre-loved, partly used or opened. Some are new and sealed, and each listing states its condition and fill level.

How do I know a bottle is authentic? Read the batch codes and photos on the listing, check the seller's badge and sales count, and choose FoS Verified at checkout to have us inspect it first.

What does fill level mean? The share of the bottle that is still full. A 100 ml bottle at 70% holds about 70 ml. Bottles below 10% cannot be listed.

Can I make an offer? Yes. Offers must be at least 50% of the asking price and stay open for 48 hours. When a seller accepts, you get a code that applies the agreed price at checkout.

Do buyers pay a fee? No. You pay the item price, shipping and any sales tax your state charges.

Why ground shipping only? Perfume is flammable, so US carriers only accept it by ground. Ground shipping inside the US usually takes 2 to 5 business days after the seller ships.

Can I return a bottle? Report a fake, diluted, wrong or not-as-described bottle within 72 hours of delivery and we refund you. Bottles that match their listing are not returnable because perfume cannot be resold as new once opened.

Do you collect sales tax? Yes. As a marketplace we collect and pay sales tax for the states that require it, so sellers do not have to.

When do sellers get paid? Three days after delivery, or as soon as the buyer confirms the bottle is as described.

Can I sell decants? Decants are allowed only from verified decanter accounts, with the source bottle shown and the decant date on the label.

What can I not sell? Counterfeits, replicas and inspired-by clones sold as originals, bottles under 10% full, creams, serums, soaps and other skincare.

Can I message a seller? Yes, from any listing once you are signed in. Messages that try to move payment off Feelings of Scent are blocked to keep you covered.
